The SPE Career Advancement Network (Formerly Members in Transition) Seminar Series is designed to include a selection of topics of interest to SPE members who are transitioning between jobs, are looking for new career opportunities, or guidance on the state of the industry and those looking to take advantage of our diverse and experienced talent pool.

Seminares are currently held once per qusrter, with two of the events held in conjunction with our twice yearsly Energy Professionals Hiring Event.

Valenti, Litigation Associate, Sidley Austin LLP - “Ethical Considerations When Changing Employers” - Come learn about ethical considerations applicable to employees who are changing employers, including common employment contract terms, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality issues, and common law obligations employees owe employers under Texas law.  


SPE-GCS Veterans Program

SPE-GCS is proud to announce the addition of the SPE-GCS Veterans Program. The Veterans program is designed to help Veterans obtain a basic understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, provide assistance with resume building, interview preparation and creating direct connectivity to potential employers. The SPE-GCS Veterans Program is composed of military service officers and Oil & Gas professionals.
