Dr.Tauseef has 23 years of experience across global operations, research and technology development, portfolio management, commercialization, commercial and business development, design process, managing global and regional technology centers and workforce strategies.

Currently responsible for energy transition and growth strategy reporting to the CEO. Her remit includes market intelligence, technology, innovation, product portfolio management, product development, commercialization, IIoT, marketing, corporate communications, strategic applications development and pricing process and strategies, at an Industrial, operating out of 55 countries.

Prior to joining her current employer in Feb 2019, Tauseef led a Global Chemicals business across 50+ countries at an upstream energy company. Her remit included profit and loss, operations and services, manufacturing, supply chain, product line, technology, commercial growth and human resource strategies.

Over the first 21 years of her career with an upstream energy service company, Tauseef held senior roles as Vice President Enterprise Technology, Country Director Trinidad, Senior Director Sustaining and Testing for Drilling and Evaluation, first Chief Engineer, Commercial Development in upstream and downstream chemicals.

Dr. Salma has over 20 technical publications and industry presentations. She has been a keynote speaker, an invited panelist in international conferences and holds 4 US patents. Tauseef holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas. She served on the Advisory Board of Rice U for Professional Science Masters, Energy Advisory Board Univ. of Houston, Advisory Board of Petroleum Eng. at University of Trinidad and Tobago. She has also served for over five years in leadership roles in two non-profit organizations, dedicated to education of children and professional mentoring and development.
