Jan. 20, 2021

Description

After a volatile 2020, over 80 E&Ps and service companies declared bankruptcy, driven by lower oil demand and prices and increased financial stress. The industry is not out of the woods yet. Although oil and gas prices are expected to recover over the next 12 months, borrowing bases could still decrease year-on-year.

The business development study group will kick off 2021 with a restructuring and bankruptcy panel featuring executives from operators and advisory firms including Brian Bradshaw, Business Development Manager at EP Energy, Mark Castiglione, Partner at Meridian Energy, David Rottino, President and Chief Executive Officer of Riviera Resources, Brett Lowrey, Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, and John Castellano, Managing Director at Alix Partners. The panel will discuss the impact of the oil and gas markets on restructuring, as well as how to successfully navigate and exit bankruptcy.

To facilitate networking, there will be a virtual networking session from 3:30-4:00 PM followed by the panel from 4:00-5:15 PM, with an additional networking session afterwards.

Note: This event will be a virtual webinar. Registrants will be provided with login information ahead of the event.
