Description

This discussion will focus on how to incorporate MS Excel/Access integration when collecting large amounts of data from different sources.  Will demonstrate how to combine, query, and filter data in MS Access, exporting data over to MS Excel via an MS Excel query, and manipulating data by utilizing some advanced Excel functions for high end analysis or for graphical presentations.

Roblyn Houston, a native Houstonian, graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.  She spent over 4 years working at ExxonMobil in a contracting position, as a Global Facilities Technician, supporting over 40 Senior Engineers locally, as well as other senior level staff located at their 13 Production Units.  In late September of 2011, Roblyn was permanently employed with Marathon Oil Corporation – Eagle Ford Shale (1+ years), and is currently a Subsurface Engineering Technical Analyst at BHP Billiton Petroelum for the Fayetteville and Haynesville Shales located in Arkansas and Louisiana.
