Forrest Hoglund is Chairman and CEO of  SeaOne Maritime Corporation, a new company that transports liquefied, compressed natural gas.  Forrest also serves as Chairman of Forest Oil in Denver.

Forrest is the retired Chairman of the Board and CEO of EOG Resources, Inc., one of the most active drillers of gas wells in the U.S. and Canada. 

Prior to his appointment with EOG Resources in September 1987, Forrest was President and CEO of Texas Oil & Gas Corporation (TXO), one of the fastest growing independent producing companies at that time.

After receiving a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kansas, Forrest began his career with Exxon Corporation.  He worked for Exxon from 1956 to 1977 in various capacities, including Vice President of Natural Gas.
