The Keynote introduction is entitled "Reservoir Models and Intelligent Wellbores: Where the Rubber Meets the Road"

Reservoir Modeling is the key to proper field development. New technologies extend the influence of the reservoir model beyond the design phase of a well. Understanding the reservoir’s behavior is key to using the various intelligent technologies that come together in the wellbores of our high tech fields: the completion, the monitoring, the artificial lift and the flow assurance. Intelligent wellbores also enhance our understanding of the reservoir and allows us to improve the reservoir model. This keynote will explore how Intelligent Wellbores are both a challenge and an opportunity for the Reservoir Engineer.
