Description

UNCONVENTIONAL GAS RESOURCES – Demand for Natural Gas has fueled a major drilling and completion boom in the U. S. and neighboring countries. Long the hope of USGS forecasters, gas from shales (Barnett, Woodford, Fayetteville, etc), tight gas sands (Cotton Valley, Appalachain, Niobrara, etc), coal beds, and deep, ultra-pressured on-shore and  off-shore reservoirs (GOM, Fort Worth, Anadarko, and Permian Basins) have grown to a significant component of the supply pipeline.
Assessments indicate a resource of 1000 – 2000 TCF of recoverable methane that could comprise 80% of new gas supply in the years ahead. Industry has, armed with new technologies, funded by strategic investors, and inspired by economic success, embarked an exciting expansion of activity that has room for all “sizes and shapes” of players.
BDSG urges you to listen to some of the most active companies in this gas sector who will address strategies, technology, funding, and markets critical to the further profitable exploitation of these resources.  Make unconventional gas a successful part of your Portfolio!
