Garry A. Tanner, Senior V.P. & C.O.O., EnerPlus Resources Fund, is responsible for strategic direction of operations and business development, the ongoing operations and production of the company, and identification and completion of attractive mergers, acquisitions, and divestments. Prior to his affiliation with Enerplus in August, 2000, Mr. Tanner was a Sr VP for EnCap Investments, L.C., and worked 13 years for Exxon. He earned BS ChemE & MBA degrees from Kansas U and UT-Austin, respectively. Mr. Tanner is on the board of Bear Ridge Resources Ltd. and White Fire Energy Ltd., both in Calgary.

 

Kolja Rockov, Executive V.P. & CFO. Linn Energy, LLC joined Linn Energy, LLC in March 2005. Previously, Mr. Rockov served as a Managing Director in the Energy Group at RBC Capital Markets, where he was primarily responsible for investment banking coverage of the U.S. exploration and production sector. Prior to September 2000, Mr. Rockov held various senior positions with Dain Rauscher Wessels and Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. Linn Energy is an independent natural gas and oil company focused on the development and acquisition of properties in the Appalachian Basin. As a private company Linn has completed nine acquisitions for an aggregate purchase price of $203.2 million. In 2005, Linn filed for its $270 million initial public offering.  

 

Paul Lee, Director of Corporate Finance - Pioneer Natural Resources, oversees all Corporate Finance and Merger & Acquisition endeavors, and manages Pioneer’s Budgeting and Planning Group. Paul came to Pioneer after earning his MBA with honors from SMU’s Cox School of Business. Prior to joining Pioneer, Mr. Lee was an associate in the Asset Management group of Goldman Sachs in New York, an associate with UBS in their Energy Investment Banking Group in Dallas, and an analyst with JC Bradford Investment Bank in Nashville, TN. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in the Business Honors Program at UT – Austin.
