Description

Adrian Goodisman will be speaking on the acquisition and divesture market, in general, with a special focus on Scotia Waterous deals in the Permian basin. Specifically, in the Permian basin, Scotia Waterous has recently offered over 30,000 boepd in multiple offerings. A variety of case studies on Permian divestments will be presented. Additionally, a review of A&D activity level by basin will be presented including who’s buying, who’s selling, valuation parameters etc. Finally, some trends in the global A&D space will also be presented.

Adrian Goodisman is a Managing Director for Scotia Waterous, and is responsible for business development and management of the Houston office. He has experience in multiple transactions totalling over $4 billion. Prior to joining Scotia Waterous, Mr. Goodisman was Senior Vice President with Ziff Energy Group. During this time, he opened its U.S. office and led the development of its upstream products and services. He also spent nine years with Phillips Petroleum acquiring technical expertise primarily in field exploitation and acquisitions and divestitures. He brings more than 17 years exploration and production experience to Scotia Waterous, gained primarily in the US and Canada, and internationally in Europe, Asia and South America.



Mr. Goodisman holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Salford, UK and a Masters of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Capital Markets Committee of the IPAA. He has served in a variety of positions with the SPE including: Chairman, Canadian Section; Chairman, International Membership Committee; and Director, Gulf Coast (Houston) Section. For the 2001/2002 season, he served as an SPE distinguished lecturer.
