Description

In this presentation, we will cover the fundamentals of Data Science and how an Automated Machine Learning (ML) platform like DataRobot can accelerate the development and operationalization of data science projects. Together, we will solve a predictive maintenance use-case where we will build a model to predict which components on an oil-rig will need replacement. We will start with a raw dataset, and go through exploration, model development, and selection resulting in a fully deployed model all within about 10 minutes. Next, we will touch on some other common ML approaches like computer vision and time-series forecasting for corrosion detection and demand forecasting. Finally, we will leave time for Q&A.
