Steve Hendrickson is President of Ralph E. Davis Associates (RED), an Opportune LLP company. Steve has over 35 years of professional leadership experience in the energy industry adding value through acquisitions, development, and operations. Prior to joining Opportune, Steve was Principal of Hendrickson Engineering LLC, El Paso Production Company, Montierra Minerals & Production LP and Eagle Rock Energy Partners and Shell Oil as an engineer in Permian Basin waterfloods and CO2 floods. Steve is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Texas and Pennsylvania and holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Served as a board member of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) and is a registered FINRA representative.

Mr Pechal serves as Vice President upstream technical for Lazard.

His past work he held multiple roles with XTO as Sr. Reservoir Engineer – Canada - Eagle Ford; Operations Engineer - Barnett Shale. With XOM he worked as a Subsurface Engineer - Subsea & Global Operations teams. His experience includes subsurface and reservoir engineering work in the Piceance and Permian for XOM and Anadarko.

Gerard received a BS Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Mr. Chunn joined Juniper Capital in August 2020.  Mr. Chunn has over 8 years of experience in the energy industry in both operational and business development related roles.  Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Vice President at Kayne Anderson’s Energy Group.  While at Kayne Anderson, Mr. Chunn was responsible for reserve-based valuations and engineering oversight of Kayne Anderson’s oil & gas portfolio companies.  Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Mr. Chunn held various A&D, engineering, and asset development roles at Encana Oil & Gas.  During his time at Encana, Mr. Chunn focused on reservoir engineering, drilling and completions engineering, and A&D activity across a number of the company’s assets in various basins.  Mr. Chunn holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Kathleen Hogenson currently serves as Director for Verisk Analytics, Frist Quantum Minerals, and Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. Past roles included CEO for a Kayne Anderson backed startup Zone Energy; Independent director for Cimarex Energy; Petrofac; Parallel Petroleum Corp. Advisor board member for Samsung Oil & Gas USA. CEO and President at Santos USA. VP Technology and Global Reservoir Engineer – Unocal. Engineering Manager, Maxus Energy Corp., Quito, Ecuador.  Kathleen received a BSc Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University.

Steve McDaniel is the chairman of Sentinel Energy and Longleaf Environmental Services. Mr. McDaniel is the retired founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Midstates Petroleum Company (NYSE: MPO). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Encino Energy. Mr. McDaniel previously chaired or served on the Board of Directors of Ultra Petroleum (NYSE: UPL), Sundance Energy (NASDAQ: SNDE) and Bazean Corporation. In addition, Steve previously chaired the Executive Board of the Lone Star Chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. His previous experience included approximately ten years of oil and gas investment banking, the majority of which was with Merrill Lynch, where he held the position of Managing Director. He began his career with Conoco in 1983, where he held a variety of engineering, operations, and business development positions. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
