Waterflooding is a widely used approach to get more recovery from conventional reservoirs. However, the geological heterogeneity of a reservoir challenges waterflooding efficiency.
This talk will discuss a microbial technology which utilizes indigenous bacteria to plug preferred water channels and improves the conformance control of waterflooding. In additional to EOR benefits, it reduces water production resulting in reduced LOE costs, and protects reservoirs from souring.

Walk-in space is available on a seat-limited basis at a fee more than the on-line registration fee.
