Join Mike McKimmy of Hess as he presents about a large-scale data acquisition project in the Bakken, with the goal of mapping far-field drainage and characterizing completion performance using fiber optics, geophones, tracers, downhole pressure gauges, and other diagnostic tools.

The SPE GCS “Completions and Production Study Group” will host the presentation IN-PERSON ONLY (Lunch-and-Learn) at the NexTier’s Headquarters in Houston April 13th from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CST. Doors will open at 11:30 AM for networking.

He has more than 13 years of industry experience with both Hess and Halliburton.  His current focus is on frac modeling studies and intensive data gathering projects, with experience in Bakken unconventionals and GOM deepwater.  He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
