Description

Though the geothermal energy industry has been around for over half a century and taps into a nearly limitless resource, it makes up a surprisingly modest percentage of the U.S. energy mix. Previously held back by lack of technical innovation and policy support, geothermal could be primed for a breakthrough of significant proportions. This talk reviews the technology innovation, market dynamics, and political and regulatory support contributing to the shift in modern geothermal energy potential.
