Description

With gas prices (shockingly) above $5/mcf and an ever-increasing focus on ESG, natural gas is poised to fuel the transition economy. Prolific well results coupled with a favorable geography make the Haynesville Shale the basin of choice to meet this growing demand.

Join the SPE-GCS Business Development Study Group as we explore this exciting region via the lens of some of the top operators in the basin such as Chesapeake, Rockcliff Energy and Southwestern. The discussion will cover big deals, consolidation, LNG, & high IPs. This a great chance to hear directly from some of the most active operators in the basin and to network with industry peers. As a bonus, the program will feature a LNG overview prior to the panel by Alex Munton, Principal Analyst LNG Research with WoodMackenzie.

Presenters include: Chris Simon (VP Business Development, Rockcliff Energy), Derek Dixon (Director of Business Development A&D, Chesapeake Energy), Kyle Magrini (Director & General Manager of Corporate Development, Southwestern Energy Company) with Robert Clarke (Vice President, Upstream Research, WoodMackenzie) as Emcee.

October 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at The Petroleum Club of Houston

This event is $45 for members, $55 for non-members and $20 for students, members in transition, and retired members. There will be limited guests so please visit the event webpage for more information and register now to reserve your place.
