Dr. Tom Blasingame is a Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M from which he holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees.  Blasingame has graduated 73 M.S. (thesis), 35 M.Eng. (report, non-thesis), and 16 Ph.D. students, and he has prepared more than 170 technical articles, as well as having performed several major field studies involving geology, petrophysics, and engineering tasks.      .  

Dr. Kostarelos is currently directing the UH Energy Technology Innovation Center. He was previously an Associate Professor in the newly-formed Petroleum Engineering Department at the University of Houston (UH). Dr. a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests in the area of flow in porous media include EOR technologies and Partitioning Interwell Tracer Testing.

Dr. Miskimins is a Professor and the Department Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines.  Dr. Miskimins holds a MS and PhD degrees from the Colorado School of Mines, all in petroleum engineering.  She has over 30 years of experience in both industry and academic settings.  Dr. Miskimins served as the first Completions Technical Director on the SPE International Board of Directors from 2015-2018.

David has been a pioneer and champion of strategic growth in technology, business models, machine design, and industrial digitization.  David has written many published technical papers and magazine articles, with patents in drilling systems and automation. David serves on the boards of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the National Ocean Industries Association

John Hudson is an advisor supporting transformation of subsurface and wells related workflows for Shell’s global businesses.  His activities have included lead roles in the development of an integrated reservoir and IPSM simulator and a model-based, cloud deployed, real-time operational support systems.   John holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.  He is an SPE Co-Chair for Energy-in-Data, a joint initiative with SEG and AAPG.
