The SPE-GCS Education Committee is facilitating a luncheon panel session for members of the industry and academia to discuss the focus of the undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering. The session “Petroleum Engineering Curriculum of Tomorrow”, should address member concerns such as: “Should the PE curriculum be re-designed to accommodate the cyclic nature of the energy industry?”; “What should be the goal of the PE undergraduate curriculum?”, and; “What should a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering prepare individuals for?”.
