Dean Murphy is a Customer Success Engineer at ComboCurve and the OGGN News podcast host. In his client-facing role at the energy software company, ComboCurve, Dean helps modernize asset development and asset evaluation workflows with cloud-based forecasting, reserves, and economics. He also leads the ComboCurve CollegeCourses initiative, where he has instructed hundreds of students in energy-related majors on using ComboCurve. 


Dean holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is passionate about creating opportunities for youth/young professionals, meeting new people in the energy space, and solving problems with technology. Outside of work, he enjoys assisting the Texas A&M SPE student chapter as the TAMU-SPE Ambassador and leading the OGGN Student Outreach Street Team Committee. In these roles, he educates the next generation about all things energy. On the weekends, Dean loves restoring his 1969 Mustang with the help of his father, running, and cooking new dishes.
