Description
Measurement errors in data collected during flowback create uncertainty in drawdown optimization and in evaluating the effect of changes in completion designs on well performance.
Examples will be presented showing how measurement errors are identified, the effect of measurement methods on rate and pressure data quality, and which data acquisition methods result in the best data quality.
Efficiencies from a combination of good data quality and automated performance diagnostics reduce ambiguities in completion evaluation and allow operators to push the boundaries in achieving higher initial production rates while minimizing damage to the well.
