This session by Daniel Emery, a team lead on Waterflood Surveillance, Analysis and Optimization with Chevron’s Energy Technology Company in Houston, is going to cover topics related to piloting and deploying modern technology in the oilfield and how major E&Ps evaluate such technologies as they are developing their assets.

 

There will be food and enough time for a healthy discussion with the speaker.

Daniel received his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in 2002. He joined Chevron as Production Engineer in Bakersfield, CA and has held various roles in reservoir engineering, leadership, and technology development since then. Daniel is also a founding member of Chevron’s Piloting Community of Practice and …

Daniel received his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in 2002. He joined Chevron as Production Engineer in Bakersfield, CA and has held various roles in reservoir engineering, leadership, and technology development since then. Daniel is also a founding member of Chevron’s Piloting Community of Practice and has worked on the design and execution for numerous pilots ranging from heavy oil to tight rock to gas EOR in both onshore and deep water environments. He currently serves as the team lead of Waterflood Surveillance, Analysis and Optimization with Chevron’s Energy Technology Company in Houston, TX.
