Description

Over the past decade, we have witnessed dramatic transformations in our organizations and our workplace as we have responded to changes in technology, the business environment, globalization, and societal expectations.  We have accomplished these tremendous shifts with the benefit of a highly experienced workforce and ongoing training. Today, many of our valued employees are transitioning to retirement and we are faced with the important task of rapidly developing the next generation of drillers. We are well prepared to meet this exciting challenge through the careful management of job assignments and the delivery of excellent training that is fit-for-purpose and that demonstrably contributes to efficient performance, technology transfer, operational safety, and ultimately, our continued success in a global workplace and competitive business environment.  This talk will discuss key elements of career development and training as they have been implemented by the ExxonMobil Drilling Organization.
