Description

Surge Energy has optimized completions and streamlined to cut costs, deliver repeatable performance, and stay within the spacing pattern to minimize parent-child issues. We will walk through each phase of our completion operations and discuss how we have changed in water usage, sand usage, and stage design. We will show how we have validated our completion designs with various technologies. As we started looking towards longer laterals of 2.5 miles and longer, we will discuss dissolvable technologies we have employed and how stage design was changed to include diverters. We will close with how all of these optimizations came together to complete multiple 3+ mile laterals to capture acreage and optimize capital deployment.
