We would like to cordially invite you to the “UPSTREAM OIL AND GAS PROFESSIONALS HIRING EVENT” initiative by the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Gulf Coast Section. We are striving to provide a platform for experienced upstream professionals and oil and gas companies to meet in person and create value for both sides.
The SPE is partnering with other professional organizations to make this event inclusive and representative of the upstream segment. Thus, we expect candidates from all upstream disciplines to participate.
Employers will have early access to the job seekers’ CVs, access to a brief job seeker's questionnaire, have a booth at the event and have the opportunity to meet with experienced candidates. See details on the event website here.
Registration rates are scaled by number of employees:
- Large firms with > 3,000 employees: $1,000
- Big firms with 1001-3000 employees: $800
- Medium firms with 50-1000 employees: $500
- Small firms with < 50 employees: $100
COVID-19 Update (03/17/2020)
The SPEGCS MiT team wishes to thank you for your support of our Spring- 2020 Upstream O&G Hiring Event. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, based on advice from both the CDC and Harris County governments, the decision has been taken to postpone this event until 29th September 2020.
Events such as this take tremendous time and effort to organize and represent the very best of SPE’s volunteer membership. Hence in the interest of getting a head-start towards making our Fall-2020 event even better, we request your consideration to apply your fees to our 29 September event. In turn you’ll be allowed access to the Dropbox with any CV’s which have been uploaded until now and be guaranteed the same status for which you’ve registered previously. Refunds would also be available on request to firstname.lastname@example.org, per SPE’s refund policies. Once again, we appreciate your support, and look forward to working with you again
COVID-19 Update (03/15/2020):
Each employer may bring up to 10 representatives, working in shifts of 2 representatives in the Hiring Event at a time, in order to keep the Hiring Event attendance to less than 250 attendees at a time.
COVID-19 Update (03/10/2020):
At this time, the SPE-MiT committee is NOT planning to cancel the Spring 2020 Hiring event. As a contingency however, we are investigating alternative date(s) and venues; should anything change we will post it here, and will inform all of our participants.
Please be assured that we place the health and safety of our guests above all else, and will not hesitate to cancel if needed. We will continue to monitor the situation. Finally, please note that SPE-GCS refund policy allows 100% refund if you need to cancel your registration at least 24 hours prior to the event.
