SPE YP Community Outreach Committee invites you to join us for our annual Rebuilding Together Houston event. Volunteers will help conduct minor exterior repairs and put a fresh coat of paint on the house of a local Houston elderly or disabled resident. Come on out to network with fellow SPE members while helping to revitalize the community.

This event is in partnership with Rebuilding Together Houston. See below for details on the this organization:

Rebuilding Together - Houston (RT-H) is Houston’s largest community outreach organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods. They provide home repair and renovation services at no cost to low-income homeowners in need, such as the elderly, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and people impacted by natural disasters.

RT-H aims to help by constructing wheelchair ramps, installing handrails, installing doors with peepholes and security locks, and many other improvements that create an environment for the homeowner that is safe, warm, and dry.

RT-H needs volunteers of all experience levels to help their Fall 2019 Home Repair Program, and the YP group will be leading a team on the October 26th and 27th sessions. Please join us in this event in which we not only give back to our Houston community, but use our handy engineering skills to do it!

Please contact the YP Community Outreach Committee for questions. Thank you!

Lunch, snacks and water will be provided by TechnipFMC
