Description

Under-design of subsea facilities creates flow rate bottlenecks and over-design ensures unnecessary expenditures.  The design team for the Agbami deepwater development offshore Nigeria has successfully avoided falling into these common design traps.  This presentation will illustrate how a methodology utilizing integrated reservoir and surface simulation enabled optimization of subsea riser count and configuration.  The project team evaluated a range of reservoir uncertainties while truly reflecting the impact of multiphase fluid flow in deepwater production systems. The use of proper tools and effective methodology delivers dramatic financial impact - come see how.
