SPE President Sami Alnuaim

Oil and gas will remain a major part of the energy mix for many decades. When people have access to affordable energy, their standard of living is enhanced.  However, the expectation is growing among general society and key stakeholders that the industry will provide oil and gas, reliably, sustainably, and with minimal environmental footprint.

This presentation will describe a few of the significant sustainability challenges and address the industry’s ongoing commitment continue the innovation and technological development that will enhance our performance to ensure responsible development.

In addition, this presentation will address the industry pride and passion of the next generation that will be essential to deliver energy resources to the world.  The broader industry, SPE and its members will be key to our success for many generations to come.
