Description

During the past seven to eight years, the Permian Basin area has been one of the most active oil and gas shale play/development regions within the United States. With the high activity and success of oil and gas development, has brought many ESH challenges to the oil and gas companies operating in this fast-paced environment. The ESH professionals working in this region are faced with many unique challenges that have not been observed/experienced in previous boom times. ESH teams must now: use new ideas or old ideas with a twist, dedicate additional time to the details, keep a proactive approach and maintain a team effort with all parties (Internal to the company, contractors, agencies, and the surrounding community’s)

This presentation is focused on the ESH challenges and the proactive tools used to help mitigate/reduce the risk and/or solve the problem.
