With stacked pay, large acreage tracts and globally-competitive breakeven prices, the Permian Basin remains one of the hottest regions in the US. However, with high acreage prices and established players, it can be a challenging environment for new entrants – and in particular smaller companies. Aaron Davis has successfully navigated these obstacles, building-out two positions in the Delaware Basin in 2016 with Fortuna Resources and successfully exiting in late 2016 and 2017 for proceeds exceeding $120 million.  He now leads TNM Resources, focused on both the Delaware Basin and Central Basin Platform.

Mr. Davis will discuss:

  • Key challenges to building an attractive position
  • Potential hurdles, pitfalls and challenges in the region
  • How to build a sustainable and attractive acreage position
