Description

Technology, integration and scale are the three main differentiators for Shell in shales. Shell has interest in more than 500,000 acres (260,000 net acres) in the Delaware Basin. The company has focused on de-risking its acreage and has advanced several key areas. It is driving continuous improvement and optimization across its operations, including well pad spacing, harvest well inventory, pad delivery and cycle time, water management and supply chain logistics.  Moreover, it is rolling out its iShaleTM program in the Permian Basin, leveraging recent advances in automation, digitalization and advanced analytics to increase productivity as well as help us better manage costs and risks across the entire field life cycle
