Description

In recent years the industry has made significant strides in the use of fiber optics as a means for downhole evaluation. In this talk we will look at various applications of fiber optic sensors run in non-instrumented wells on coiled tubing, wireline, and slickline. We will look at case studies of treatment evaluations, examples of cross-well communication, and how this data set can be used to make completions optimization decisions. We will also talk about how operators have been able to achieve operational efficiency by combining fiber optic diagnostic runs with other planned downhole work.
