Description

 

The presentation will cover Wood Mackenzie’s forecasts for rig count and production by the major producing regions.  It will also cover break-evens and the economics of each for the key onshore plays and where Wood Mackenzie sees the best opportunities for development going forward.  Finally, there will be a discussion of OFS inflation (deflation) and how that is expected to evolve.

Jonathan Garrett currently works on the U.S. Lower 48 Upstream Research team at Wood Mackenzie, focusing on the Rocky Mountains and Northeast regions.  He specializes in decline curve analysis, economic modelling, and onshore asset valuation. Recent work includes studying Bakken operator activity, production trends, crude export capacity, and enhanced completions.  …

Recent work includes studying Bakken operator activity, production trends, crude export capacity, and enhanced completions.  Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Jonathan worked for Schlumberger, both as an offshore field engineer and in completions product development.  His work with Schlumberger mainly focused on reservoir monitoring and control.  Jonathan holds MSE and BSE degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
