Fabián Vera (veraf@cdeus.com) is a Reservoir Engineer at CDEUS in Houston, Texas, and currently assigned to an overseas project. Previously, he performed as Reservoir Engineer for the Applied Reservoir Technology Division at Baker Hughes Incorporated. Prior to it, He worked as a shale gas research assistant while earning his degree as Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University.


He is author of multiple peer-reviewed publications and a frequent speaker at reputable conferences such as SPE ATCE, SPE IPTC, SPE HFTC, AAPG Hedberg and URTeC. His volunteering time shows records as Ecuador SPE Young Professional Chair, as SPE TAMU Committee member, as SPE Young Professional Secretary for the Gulf Coast Section and has been Co-Chair of the ATCE Unconventional Reservoir Session since 2014.
