About this Symposium
The SPE Electric Submersible Pumps Symposium, previously known as the ESP Workshop, has been in existence since 1982. In its history, professionals from 24 countries have attended to gain knowledge via technical papers, breakout sessions, expert panel sessions and continuing education.
Exhibitors from around the world display their technology and present their products and services in the exhibit hall. Experts in ESPs are easily accessible and open to sharing their knowledge and experiences through breakout sessions and panels. With four days of knowledge sharing, attendees will be exposed to a wide range of ESP topics, from a basic understanding to an in-depth expert analysis. An open format promotes camaraderie and networking, making the SPE Electric Submersible Pump Symposium a great learning experience for all levels.

With electric submersible pumps (ESPs) producing approximately 40% of the world’s oil and becoming more widely used in production operations in new and more challenging applications, it is important to share the challenges and successes and continue to improve the technology.
The SPE Electric Submersible Pumps Symposium brings together technical experts from operators and manufacturers to share information and learnings pertaining to ESP technologies, production, and operations along with a world class exhibition dedicated to ESP related equipment and services.
