The SPE Members in Transition Training Series is designed to include a selection of training to SPE members who are transitioning in between jobs during the current industry downturn. UH is offering a 44% discount to SPE-GCS members. This discount rate is only available to SPE-GCS members and is not transferrable.

Consulting in Practice. Course provides students with key knowledge that will help them understand the nature of consulting. Course material features lessons in the different types of consulting and key takeaways to help students assess the viability of a consulting career.

PREREQUISITE: Post-graduate work experience is highly meaningful but not necessary.

LEARNING OUTCOMES / COURSE OBJECTIVES: By the end of the course, students will have been introduced to the following topics: A general understanding of consulting, The different types of consulting: strategy, process, technology and change; Consulting Case Studies: How to listen for, solve and report-out on client issues; How to get a job in consulting (or go out on your own).
