Doug Lehr is Director of Technology, Wellbore Intervention, at Baker Hughes in Houston. Doug has 36 years of experience in the development of downhole tools for oil and gas well production and servicing applications. He has held management positions in technology and quality assurance and has worked both internationally and domestically. Doug has authored papers on cementing, multizone stimulation, and high pressure/high temperature (HPHT) tools and has spoken extensively on HPHT topics. He has chaired and co-chaired SPE Advanced Technology Workshops on downhole tools and HPHT applications. Doug holds numerous U.S. and international patents and was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer in 2012-13. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA degree in finance and marketing from the University of Houston.
