Description

Energy4Me is a SPE International-born initiative with the purpose of educating both the community and students in regards to the importance of energy. The program targets classrooms from as young as kindergarten to seniors in high school. The Energy4Me program has developed a suite of resources that help volunteers deliver lectures about energy when they visit one of these classrooms. The resources include videos, books, presentations, hands-on activities, and more. With these resources an SPE volunteer will visit a classroom and deliver a lecture about energy and also give a brief background of her/his career within the O&G industry. In order to learn more about the program feel free to visit the website at http://energy4me.org/.

If you are passionate about Petroleum and Energy, and you wish to transfer this knowledge to younger generations, then Energy4Me needs you! Join SPE-GCS YP's for a one-hour lecture about energy at Lanier Middle School. There is less than 30 minutes worth of prep work needed prior to the lecture. Once you have registered, an Energy4Me representative will contact you with details about the event.

We will need 3 to 4 volunteers for this activity to help facilitate the class. Additional instructions will be provided upon registration.
