Description

ArtistBoat.jpg

Artist Boat is a non-profit environmental organization on Galveston Island dedicated to promoting awareness and preservation of coastal margins and marine ecosystems. Please join one of free dune planting events hosted by Artist Boat on the west end of the island.

Participants do not need to have any previous restoration experience; organizers will walk you through all the logistics and procedures for planting dunes and the benefits these plants provide. It is a great way to spend your Saturday out on the beach and a fantastic team-building and community-engagement opportunity. If you, your coworkers, other society members, and family members would be interested in participating in these events, please RSVP.
