Richard and his wife Carol have three children, two of which are working in the oil and gas industry.

Full Description

The global oilfield equipment & service market enjoyed record years in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 while oil prices were stable to slightly declining.  Some markets, like hydraulic fracturing and directional drilling, have almost doubled since the 2009 recession and some markets, like geophysical, have fallen.

Richard Spears will present his firm’s 2015 outlook for key oilfield service & equipment markets, along with a basin by basin overview of spending in the US shale plays.
