Description

Discussion will focus on risks inherent to managing the spectrum of water issues in the oilfield and the potential mitigating solutions.  On the supply side, Ms. Harpole will go over the challenges of access, logistics, availability, contracts, pricing, regulatory and community issues.  Reuse considerations such as treatment technologies, required water quality, logistics and the corresponding economies will be discussed. Her talk will include disposal considerations such as types of disposal and their inherent risks, auditing and approval of sites, regulatory changes, disposal strategy and transportation.

Kerry graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and recieved her MBA with a focus on finance from the Jones School at Rice University. Kerry has worked in a variety of industries including refining, chemical production, electricity and finance. She currently manages all aspects of water for Marathon's Eagleford asset. She is the chair of TXOCA water committee and co-chair for the STEER water committee.
