Profile:
Randy Wester is the Global Director of Subsea Engineering at FMC Technologies. He has worked for FMC for 34 years in numerous technical and management roles at the regional and global levels. Randy has been at the forefront of developing the engineering talent and technology needed to meet the ever increasing technical challenges of the subsea industry. Randy graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979. He initiated the nation's first subsea engineering program with the University of Houston in 2011 and chairs the Industrial Advisory Board for that program. This year the University of Houston Engineering Alumni Association selected Randy to receive a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus Award.
