Kerem graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in
Engineering in 2004.

He worked for Schlumberger Drilling & Measurements division as a field engineer for 2
years in the Gulf of Mexico.

In April 2007, Kerem joined FMC Technologies as an offshore installation engineer in the
Gulf of Mexico.  After working as an offshore installation engineer for 2 years, he transitioned into a technology role where he was responsible for the development and introduction of new
offshore technologies.

In November 2010, Kerem transitioned into his current role as a field development
engineer in the Increased Oil Recovery group at FMC Technologies.  In his current role, Kerem develops
production strategies and field layouts for green and brown fields that require subsea processing.

Full Description

"Introduction to Subsea Production Equipment"

Part 1 of the 5 part Expanding Facilities Knowledge series, FMC Technologies will be using a 3D animation program to “fly” over typical subsea components and basic subsea fields. The software will allow the audience to visualize subsea components,
connections and field layouts that are used in typical subsea developments.
The presentation will cover various types of hardware normally provided
by FMC Technologies such as trees, manifolds and subsea controls.  There
will be a detailed discussion on the differences between horizontal and
vertical subsea trees, their use and their design methodology to ease subsea
installations, allow for proactive maintenance and maximize overall system
availability.
