Suzanne is a member of the Board of Directors for:
Encana, a natural gas exploration and production company based in Calgary, Canada;London-domiciled drilling contractor Rowan Companies Plc.;ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steel company based in Luxembourg;Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 building products company based in Toledo, Ohio; andValerus, a privately-held natural gas compression company based in Houston.Suzanne also serves as a Senior Advisor to Rothschild in their North American oil and gas practice.Suzanne retired in July 2010 as a Director (senior partner) in McKinsey & Company’s Houston Office. Since joining the firm in 1989, she served clients in energy, logistics, manufacturing, and professional services industries on a broad range of strategy, corporate finance, business building, portfolio management, operations, organization, and risk management-related issues.
In addition to client work, Suzanne was a leader in McKinsey & Company's Global Petroleum Practice, Electric Power & Natural Gas Practice, as well as the Global Organization Practice. She served on several of the Firm’s worldwide personnel committees for many years and formerly served as the Houston Office Manager.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Suzanne spent two years with the New York and London Offices of Strategic Planning Associates. In addition, she spent 4 years as an Account Executive with Travelers.
Suzanne chairs the Board of the Houston Zoo and is a Trustee for Texas Children’s Hospital. She is a former board member of the Greater Houston Partnership, United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast and the American Heart Association, and a former Trustee of the St. John’s School in Houston.
Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
