Engineering Ethics is a part of a bigger topic – Engineering Professionalism.  The Society of Petroleum Engineers has strongly supported and encouraged Engineering Professionalism for many years and has developed a Webinar to further support Licensed Professional Engineers in their continuing education obligations.  In the webinar we will discuss the reasons why governments, primarily state governments, impose continuing training requirements in ethics, the place of ethics in society and specific ethical considerations for the engineering profession.  This hour-long presentation is intended to meet the continuing education requirements of most state boards and to remind engineers of some of the obligations they carry as part of their professional careers.
