Description

Part 2 of the 5 part Expanding Facilities Knowledge series, this session presents the evolution of pipeline hydraulics to flow assurance.   This session aims to present the challenges encountered in establishing, stabilizing and facilitating continued flow from subsurface thru upstream production facilities to downstream.  The challenges that can be encountered from start up thru commissioning and production for the life of the development will be explored along with the measures undertaken to ensure continued production and safe operation.
 
This workshop is aimed at imparting basic concepts and facilities knowledge to graduate new hires and summer interns of EP companies and contractors, while allowing opportunities for networking with other young industry professionals in the industry.
Parking is behind Energy Tower 1 on the ground floor of the parking garage.  Easiest access to the garage is from Kirkwood.
 
Presentation is in the first floowr Conference Center which is located towards the front of the building on the west side of  the lobby.

Tommy Golczynski graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), where he currently serves on the Chemical Engineering department’s alumni advisory board. Mr. Glczynski’s career started in downstream olefin and refinery design before joining Multphase Solutions, Inc (MSi, now MSi Kenny) were he ascended to Vice-President, Consulting Services. In twelve years at MSi Kenny, Mr. Golczynski managed the global operations of the consulting division and was actively engaged in technical projects throughout his tenure. He now serves as Founding Member and Managing Partner with Assured Flow Solutions (AFS), responsible for flow assurance, production chemistry, and systems engineering.
