SPE-GCS Young Professionals and Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) would like to invite you to CCSC's Back To School program. This year, 6,000 children will receive grade-appropriate school
supplies as well as a $30 voucher for new uniforms/shoes.
This volunteer-driven effort equips kids with supplies AND confidence, by allowing students to begin the
school year in a well-prepared fashion – just like their peers!

(just inside Loop 610 at Avenue B)

Sort and Set Up
(help prepare supplies and clothing for

(Come to one of two shifts; help distribute
items to clients)
Individuals can simply show up for each of the events. Groups of eight or more are asked to sign up in
advance with the Youth Services Manager.
Recommended minimum age for volunteers is 10 years (there is no maximum age, of course!). Children
younger than age 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
Recommended attire: lightweight, casual clothes and comfortable shoes. Please leave your valuable items at home. Refreshments provided. Nearly all volunteer jobs will occur indoors.
Please note that parking is limited - volunteers are encouraged to carpool, if possible.
