Description

The Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section will present a continuing education seminar which will discuss ethics. This 1 hour seminar will qualify attendees  for their annual ethics training requirement by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
 
The link and ID for joining the webinar will be sent the day of the meeting.

For PC-based participants:

  • Internet Explorer® 7.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google Chrome 5.0 or newer (JavaScript and Java enabled)
  • Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
  • Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection
  • Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (recommended) (2 GB of RAM for Windows® Vista)

For Mac®-based participants:

David Howell is the Director of Licensing for the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.  He has over 20 years of engineering experience working for the State of Texas, four of them with the Board. As the Director of the Licensing Division, he oversees the review of all PE applications, Firm registrations, EIT certifications and renewals in the State of Texas.  The Licensing division reviews more than 2,500 PE applications per year and handles the renewals for more than 52,000 licensed Texas PEs and the 7,800 registered engineering Firms. The Licensing division also coordinates the exams for more than 6,100 examinees each year. 


 


David has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, El Paso.
