James F. Napolitano is a trusted expert in security and personal protection training for individuals and organizations of any size and industry. Upon retiring from the United States Secret Service after 22 + years, he is currently the U.S. Domestic  and European Security Representative for Marathon Oil Corporation.

 

As the US Domestic Security Representative for Marathon Oil, Mr. Napolitano is responsible for all security aspects for Marathon interests and infrastructure in the United States and Europe. As a large  international oil company, Marathon is a prime target for terrorism, both domestically and abroad. Mr. Napolitano primary function is to secure Marathon’s future by eliminating risks and potential threats to personnel, infrastructure, business structure and reputation. He also works closely with Corporate Social Responsibility Group to maintain human rights thru education.

 

As a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, Mr. Napolitano was involved in all aspects of protection for the President of the United States, Vice President and First Families as well as former presidents, presidential candidates, Foreign Dignitaries and events or locations that were deemed high threats for terroristic acts. As the Resident Agent in Charge, Mr. Napolitano was instrumental in providing the security measures for Former President George W. Bush’s Western White House as well as the successful visits by many world leaders to Crawford, Texas. Due to his vast knowledge and skills, Mr. Napolitano was tasked with being the tactical coordinator for the $5 Billion “money move” during the relocation of the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank and providing the necessary security measures for the relocation of the Secret Service Houston Field Office. He was a member of the joint agency Super Note Task Force that took him overseas to investigate the highly sophisticated counterfeiting of US currency. Mr. Napolitano contributed greatly to the mission of the United States Secret Service not only in protection, but in investigations and training. He was involved in countless

cases that involved counterfeiting, identity theft and child pornography. As an instructor, Mr. Napolitano was a class coordinator for new agents at the J. Rowley Training Center and taught Control Tactics, Firearms Training, Water Rescue, Emergency Medicine and Physical Fitness. Mr. Napolitano proudly served on the highly tactical and exclusive Counter Assault Team with the Presidential Detail as well as being a Rescue Swimmer.
