Description

Subsea solutions have come a long way from being a deepwater-only application. Advances in industrial technology, efficiency, and reliability are pushing subsea technologies to become a lower risk cost competitive solution for shallow water developments. Subsea trees not only eliminate platform costs for wellhead-type applications, they may also speed field development times and increase field ROI. As a significant benefit, shallow water could serve as a training ground for the next generation of deepwater developers. The future in shallow water may now lie beneath the waves.
