Vice President QEHS Management Systems

With more than 35 years of operational and management environmental, health, and safety experience, Chris has developed a keen sense of how companies can shift from lagging to leading performance methods to accomplish their EHS focus.  As an entrepreneur who quickly built a successful business helping companies identify, assess and manage risks, he relates well with other business owners and helps them set priorities and implement the programs and processes to achieve the balance they want between safety and production.

His clients range from petroleum, food and beverage, high-tech, and manufacturing companies and those who contract/subcontract to those companies.  He has supported companies with fewer than ten employees up to large multinational companies.  He has helped hundreds of companies with regulatory compliance issues and implemented customized EHS management systems.

Chris held field and corporate level positions in Mobil Oil Corporation, Adolph Coors Co., PEC/Premier Safety Management and is presently a consultant with Environmental, Health & Safety, Inc.  A Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and a Certified Safety Professional, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver teaching master’s level courses in safety compliance, management systems, auditing, and technical courses in process safety management and risk management planning.

Chris and his wife reside in Houston, Texas, where he enjoys woodworking, golf, hiking, fishing and spending time with grandchildren.
