Michael Hannagan



 


Michael is a Senior Vice President in the Debt Origination & Restructuring Investment Banking Group at Raymond James & Associates. Prior to joining Raymond James, Michael practiced corporate and restructuring law for over five years, focusing on the representation of bondholders on ad hoc and official committees and distressed/non-distressed mergers and acquisitions. Michael also spent three years as a sales-trader of distressed and high yield bonds at Miller Tabak Roberts Securities covering hedge funds and other institutional accounts. Michael earned his B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University and J.D. from the University of Maryland.


  


 












 


 


 


 


 


 


 


Jim Harden


 


Jim’s responsibilities include engagement and account management for oil and gas company mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions, purchase allocations, federal and international tax structuring, and litigation matters. During his 28-year career, the most recent 16 years at Ernst & Young, he has worked in more than thirty countries, including Russia and CIS, Asia, and North, Central and South Americas. His clients include US and foreign IOC’s, NOC’s, independent E&P’s, midstream MLP’s, global onshore and offshore drillers, private equity firms, and sovereign wealth trusts. His prior work experience includes Texaco; and from 1982 until the late 1980’s he was an independent oil and gas operator. He’s a frequent speaker at energy conferences, including SPEE, IADC, Mergermarket, ASA, and recently, the 2010 SPE International Oil and Gas Conference in Beijing, China. His topics have included valuation of reserves using Monte Carlo simulation, global currencies and oil prices, and drilling costs. Jim has dual BS degrees from Ft. Hays State University and an MBA from LeTourneau University. He is a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers (Certified in Valuation of Oil and Gas), a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG), a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Jim has been qualified as an Expert Witness as a Qualified and Certified Appraiser before Federal, District and US Bankruptcy courts on oil and gas valuation matters.
