Come join the Young Professionals as we hear from Ananth Srinivasan on the latest advances in deepwater drilling techniques and technology.  These innovations allow us to unlock previously inaccesible reservoirs in the harsh environments of the deepwater fields around the world.

Ananth Srinivasan is currently responsible for introducing new drilling technology in the Gulf of Mexico for Baker Hughes. In the past, Ananth has held a variety of roles in management, application engineering, and operations in the Gulf Coast area. He earned a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and his bachelors degree from NIT Surathkal, Karnataka.  He has authored or co-authored 9 technical papers and an article for World Oil magazine.  From a volunteering standpoint, he has been involved with the Association for India's Development, Art of Living, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Baker Hughes’ Go Green campaign, among others.  He also spends time with university students to talk to them about the importance of networking and career development through the SPE Ambassador Lecturer Program.
